The City between two continents (Istanbul where East meets West))
Let us go to the city which has a great historical significance and is between Europe and Asia or as we say the East and the West earlier known as Constantinople yes it’s none other than the beautiful and the historic city of Istanbul lying in the Mediterranean
Stretching through two continents this city has some great places to visit as on both of its sides when the Roman Empire split into two eastern and western Roman Empire
The eastern Roman Empire with its capital as Constantinople fell into the hands of Ottoman Turks in 1453 and the Roman Empire fell with this conquest resulting in the renaming of city of Constantinople to Istanbul which eventually became the capital of Ottoman Empire ,after the world war 1 the Ottoman Empire collapsed and the city of Istanbul came under the Republic of Türkiye one of the historic church then later mosque popularly known as Hagia Sophia Mosque became a museum under the leadership of Mustafa Kemal Attaturk known as the father of Turks. the Hagia Sophia museum is one of those beautiful architectural sites worth visiting while being in Istanbul it reflects the wonders of Human architect and especially the dome will take you back to the history of the great empires which ruled the city in the past .now let us go right across to the Blue mosque also known as sultan Ahmed mosque a famous tourist destination being a mosque it has some rules for women while visiting the mosque the women should have their hairs covered. The blue tiles and it’s intricate architecture is an eye catching view but being to crowded its better to visit it during the quieter hours to see the beauty of this mosque at its fullest
Now let us turn towards the beautiful Galata Tower this tower was used as to keep a watch around the city by the past empires now there is a famous ritual with this tower so it goes like if you climb this tower with the person you love are destined to marry him/her this tower holds a great importance in the Turkish culture and even for tourists attraction its a important spot thousands of tourists visit this tower every year either with their loved one or solely, at the top of this tower you get a complete view of this adorable city the architectural style of this tower is Romanesque a Roman style of architecture this tower dates back to the Roman Empire seeing this tower the experience will take you to the times of mighty Romans surely a place worth visiting in Istanbul.
We take a twist towards one of the oldest Bazaars of Istanbul and the world ‘The Grand Bazaar’ this bazar dates back to the times of silk route this bazar gives you the touch of Turkish businesses and its a great place for buying souvenirs of your travel to Istanbul, the enthusiasm in that bazaar is different from the other market you have visited ever it is the largest covered market and a paradise for shoppers some of the best products of that market according to my experiences will be
Carpets, jewellery and ceramics, Other than this we have the exotic Spice market also known as Egyptian bazar immerse yourself with a load of spices of Turkey and do not forget to carry some saffron from here as a souvenirs
Talking about the spices of Istanbul how can we forget exotic Turkish cuisines let us start with
Baklava at Karaköy Güllüoğlu: Satisfy your sweet tooth with layers of flaky pastry and honey-soaked nuts at this renowned bakery.

These places will fill your appetite and the taste of diverse Turkish Cuisines surely a place worth visiting in my eyes.let us do a time travel now to the Palace of the Ottoman Sultans the Topakapi palace this place will amaze with its beautiful architecture stunning courtyards, ornate chambers, and the priceless artifacts in the museum.
Let us go the place we all love Istanbul for the Strait of Bosphorous the strait connecting the two continents and splitting Istanbul into two the European and Asian it is said that much of the population of Istanbul stays in the European side ,this trip of Bosphorous is mainly taken. Through the cruise it is a beautiful experience especially during the sunsets that time feels different even you can enjoy the Turkish cuisine on the Cruise.
